6. The Sea

Look out, look out unto the sea

What lies upon its frothing foam?

With waves that crash to tremble he

Who looks out on his secret home?

Protecting, guarding, ever there

It swallows pebbles, finds the tide

A breath of wind to slightly fear

So we may know what it does hide.

It can be calm, it can be still

And at such times we can't decide

But we do know it has the will

To bring out what comes from inside.

~

A down begins, it melts the sun.

A new day is just beginning

Water turns golden, zephyrs run

And now nature's course is winning.

As seagulls screech, the only sound

The message is 'The sea is here,'

And then you know it has been found

Only for eyes that shed a tear.

There's something special in the sea,

Though what it is I could not say.

Our eyes ablaze with love for thee

That special place in every way.
