3. Forgotten Love

You lived your life quite normally,

Did you think I was blind?

Foreseeing love and honesty -

You tore to shreds my mind.

You pounded on the love I gave -

Like waves that crash on stone;

Unreachable - for that I rave,

And I was so alone.

I awoke and I was lying -

In deepest pit of love;

Hearing the sound of your crying -

I sighed, Is tears enough?

One small misinterpretation -

A movement of your hand;

I thrived on your sweet attention

I feel you understand.

Those eyes that gazed upon your face,

Would never gaze on me!

The feature kind, fulfilled with grace -

I knew 'twas meant to be.

I remember all your glory -

Totally free form sin;

Now are one withered memory

My new life must begin.
