Happy Christmas 2010

This statue is in Magdalen College Chapel. Colin visited there for a Gaudy in September

In icy January we gathered at the JR hospital. Colin had his radiotherapy, Lizzie had baby Oliver, and Mo had a broken femur. All are now doing well

On 25/1/10 Kathleen happily celebrated her 90th birthday. But on 28/9/10 she had a nasty stroke and sadly died on 28/10/10. We all miss her very dearly.

In May we visited two orphanages in Mumias,Kenya run by the Nasio Trust. Colin installed a solar light, and we found a new family: Teresa, Hellen, and Alice.

Colin had a busy summer with an exhibition on detecting buried landmines with holographic radar with his Russian, US, Italian and Japanese colleagues. It was visited on 24/6/10 by the Queen.

We enjoyed an inspiring week singing in St Paul's with our SAS choir in August. Every morning we walked over the wobbly bridge from our hostel on the South Bank

In September Colin installed a wood-burning stove in our lounge. Now we have pleasant Winter evenings watching the flames.

Our Lord God bless you, bless you and keep you safe.
The Lord look upon you with kindness and grace.
Lighten and illumine your new-born soul,
And give you lasting joy and peace.

Mo sang this at Kathleen's Thanksgiving Service on 11/11/10

Wishing you all the best for a

Happy Christmas

and a joyful New Year in 2011

with love from

Colin and Mo
