Happy Christmas 2009
In February 2009 our village of East Hagbourne had a carpet of snow
On 29/3/9, our church in Streatley performed Stainer's Crucifixion
with Mo conducting.
She also played organ for Noyes Fludde at Blewbury
On 31/5/9 eighty Bellemoise came to stay in Goring. A picnic picture made the BBC 6.00pm news.
In August Colin's Australian cousins and their wives Peter, Delia, George and June came to hear us sing with the Cathedral Chamber Choir at Chichester Cathedral, and later to stay with us at East Hagbourne.
In August, Colin went to youth hostels for physics conferences in Moscow and Glasgow with his sketchbook
On 19/9/9 our 2-A-Part choir sang a concert in our Church at St Martin de Vieux Belleme. Our fine neighbours put us up, so the others could be chez nous.
Colin's 12 Volt solar lighting gathered pace during the year
with ever more and brighter lights.
A solar-powered peace clock now stands at the front of the house
Wishing you all the best for a
Happy Christmas
and a joyful New Year in 2010
with love from
Colin and Mo
God Bless Thy Year-
Thy coming in, Thy going out, Thy rest
Thy travelling about,
The rough, the smooth, the bright, the drear,
God Bless Thy Year
