The back brake works by pedalling backwards. Arrange the pedal so you can press down quite hard.
To lock Turn the key above the back wheel clockwise be a small angle: Holding it there, lower the lever on the far side from the key to send the lock across the wheel spoke. Remove the key and take it with you.
To un-lock Insert the key and turn clockwise. The lever will spring back into place. Leave the key in the lock
Very easy and convenient!
